NewTorrington Downtown Partners is very proud to see 2 of its 177 supporters recognized in the  list of the 50 most influential people in Litchfield County in 2013: JoAnn Ryan from the Chamber of Commerce and Mike DiLullo of the Venetian Restaurant.

Congratulations to Shawn and Tahsina of Shawn's Mini Market on Water Street. They had a fantastic grand opening June 19!  There was a great crowd including Mayor Ryan Bingham who cut the ribbon.

Torrington Downtown Partners is pleased to announce a new bakery is opening soon in downtown Torrington.  Sprinkles Sweets Bakery will be opening soon at 53 Main Street.

  Elevator Service Co. is now open in the newly renovated space at 47 Water Street.  The difference from before is like night and day!

On September 27, 2010 Torrington Downtown Partners purchased 7 buildings in downtown Torrington.  After purchasing 2 more buildings on December 29, 2010, Torrington Downtown Partners now owns
9 properties in downtown Torrington, Ct and is seeking to meet with people who share of our vision of a flourishing downtown!

Torrington Downtown Partners is a proud supporter of Torrington's community radio station, WAPJ - FM.  You can now listen to WAPJ onlineor on the radio at 89.9 FM and 105.1 FM where you can hear live broadcasts of Torrington Titans baseball games.   Torrington Downtown Partners is a proud supporter of the Titans who have their office at 55 Main Street.

Torrington Downtown Partners was proud to support Main Street Marketplace which was held open on 9 Thursday nights from 5 - 9 pm beginning June 30.  As part of the June 30 opening night Torrington Downtown Partners hosted an open house at its newly renovated apartment at 31 Water Street.   Erin Covey of the Republican-American produced  a video about this apartment.

Artspace Torrington Downtown Partners has been very involved with the arts scene downtown. We are providing gallery space for Five Points Gallery at 33 Main Street.  In the center of photo is gallery executive director Judith McElhone along with
the Curator of the Department of Painting and Sculpture at The Museum of Modern Art  (at left) and other members of the 5 Points team.

Torrington Downtown Partners was instrumental in relocating Artwell Gallery from a Water Street location to 41 Main Street next to Arts Desire, an art supply/home goods store.  An article about this appeared in the Hartford Courant
Torrington Downtown Partners is leasing newly renovated apartments 29-55 Water Street.     The photo below shows the a new kitchen with cabinetry, kitchen sink and faucet from Bender Showrooms.
